CAE Method Standardization Project, Inaugural Seminar 2024 in Indonesia.
On August 12, 2024, Sakai Heavy Industries held an event, CAE Method(CAE method is part of stabilizer construction method by using "Cement" and "Asphalt Emulsion" as additives) Standardization Project in Indonesia. This event is to announce aim to achieve standardization of CAE method and promote effectivity of CAE method.
The day was marked by the distinguished guest speakers, including Minister Ueda from the Japanese Embassy in Indonesia, Senior Representative Ono from JICA Indonesia Office, and BINTEK Director Yudha, who delivered inspiring and supportive speeches.
Earlier this year, we had a "Technology Transfer Training" program at the Jakarta State Polytechnic, where our engineers conducted training on the CAE method for mix design. This facilitated the localization of mix design. Following this, an impressive test construction using the CAE method was carried out at the BINTEK site in Bandung. A portion of this road was used during the electric kart racing event held on August 3-4, 2024, demonstrating the effectiveness of the CAE method and raising awareness about it.
During the seminar, three key sessions highlighted the advancements and future potential of the CAE method. The first session provided an overview of JICA project, detailing its benefits in road stabilization and how it significantly improves pavement durability by incorporating cement and asphalt emulsion, along with our company profile and vision. In the second session, Technologies relevant to Indonesia were showcased from a global perspective, incorporating Japanese and international advancements, with a focus on their critical role in enhancing the durability of road infrastructure. Finally, the last session delved into the technical aspects of the method, showcasing applications, including the recent demonstration in the BINTEK area in Bandung and the successful use of the stabilized road. These sessions not only underscored the method's efficacy but also reinforced its potential to improvement of road construction and maintenance in Indonesia.
This event not only highlighted our significant achievements in collaboration with BINTEK and JICA but also It provided a prestigious platform to showcase the impactful potential of the CAE method to a distinguished audience. The enthusiasm and positive energy generated during the event have set the stage for future innovations and collaborations, paving the way for continued success and growth in our shared mission to improvement road construction and maintenance in Indonesia.
